| In 2001, I graduated from Business Coach Development
System. Shortly afterward, I began business coaching full
time and founded Dona Kerr Coaching, one of only a handful
of coaching businesses in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
For sixteen years, I was a co-owner of an Internet
Technology-related business. Before that, I spent a
number of years working with a non-profit organization
and a shipping company.
As an active community volunteer, I have extensive
leadership experience in education organizations, non-profit
community organizations, and my church. The skills I
developed in these roles are a tremendous asset to my
coaching expertise.
When deciding to become a business coach, I “listened”
to my life. My interests, life experience, and work
history all pointed me toward becoming a business coach.
My experiences as an entrepreneur, manager, sales person,
creative person, and stay-at-home mom give me the insight
I need to help persons in these fields recognize, develop,
and use their knowledge, skills, and talents.
My client list includes a variety of professionals:
entrepreneurs, owners of small businesses, sales teams,
and mid-level managers, with an emphasis on entrepreneurs
and sales people who need to achieve both balanced lives
and business growth.

A wide-ranging variety of interests and hobbies keep
me active and continually growing in an enriched, balanced
lifestyle. I am a 3rd Degree Karate Black Belt and certified
cardio-karate instructor, a breast cancer survivor,
and a single mother of two incredible teenaged daughters.
Travel and more travel top my list of favorite activities,
as well as cooking, reading, walking in the sunshine,
and self development (yes, I think it’s fun!). |
